These soft and fluffy rolls are a perfect complement to savory dishes and are sure to please everyone at the table. In this recipe, we’ll guide you through creating irresistibly sweet dinner rolls that will have your family and guests coming back for seconds.

Ingredients:

4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup warm milk (around 110°F/43°C)

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing on top

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the warm milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir with a wooden spoon or a dough hook attachment in a stand mixer until a soft dough forms.

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic. Alternatively, knead the dough in a stand mixer with the dough hook attachment for the same duration.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release any air bubbles. Transfer it back to the lightly floured surface and divide it into equal-sized portions. Shape each portion into a round ball.

Arrange the shaped dough balls in a greased baking pan, leaving a small gap between each roll to allow for rising. Cover the pan with a clean kitchen towel and let the rolls rise for an additional 30-45 minutes until they have doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) during the last 15 minutes of the dough’s rising time.

Once the rolls have risen, place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown on top.

Remove the rolls from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter for a glossy finish.

Allow the sweet dinner rolls to cool slightly before serving. Serve them warm with butter or your favorite spreads.

Enjoy the soft and sweet goodness of these homemade dinner rolls as a delectable addition to your dinner or as a treat on their own. These rolls can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving, making them perfect for special occasions or everyday enjoyment.
